Declan sat in one of the library's many computer chairs, his head resting on his right hand as he pretended to be doing something. He had just texted Marie Clair, a girl he had met awhile ago, and things just weren't going anywhere. He hadn't planned on keeping her for very long from the start, but she wasn't opening up enough for him to even make a move.
Declan was a player, just like a lot of the guys in this school. It wasn't a surprise to run into one, but the best part was that none of the girls seemed to get it. He found most of them either absolutely oblivious to the fact, or that for some reason they liked it? No matter, his pencil tapped on his notebook impatiently as he awaited the blonde's arrival...
His eyes wandered around the large room, full of rack and rows of books that no one probably even touched these days. The room was silent, relevant to the amount of people there, Just one or two students and a librarian. No wonder. He rolled his eyes, growing bored from sitting in the empty room, and not being able to do more important things, due to Marie Clair's delayed arrival, or response you could suppose.
Declan knew the problem was him himself, being impatient anyways. He never really took his time on anything, or waited up for people in that sense. This was probably a large contribution to his "player" status. Being impatient, he easily grew bored, and because of him, girls were simply a one night thing to him. An item you could say. Sure, call him what you'd like, but who you grow up with influences you... Yes, Declan's two older brothers, and father in that state were players. He simply saw it as what it was, and he really didn't know any better at this point... Marie Claire made her way slowly to the library, sometimes stopping to talk to people on the way. She knew what was coming, in fact it almost didn't bother her. After all the players she'd happened to have fallen for, she had gotten used to the whole idea and kind of tried to look for a way to avoid them. But, it just so happened that they were pretty much the only thing she ran into these days.
She reached the library, managing to reply to a text before she actually went in. She noticed him at one of the computer desks, walking over to where he sat and sitting down next to him. Hey. Wanna talk? She asked, sighing and leaning back in her chair.

Declan looked up at Marie Clair as she sat down next to him, leaning back in her chair with her arms crossed across her chest. Well, it was obvious the girl knew what was coming, she wasn't an idiot, but she still looked as if she were disappointed. Not that Declan really cared, but he did feel bad never the less. "Yeah... So uh, things just aren't working out. Ya know? I just don't think we're going to get much further..." he explained, leaning back in his chair as well.
"So, I'm just going to end it now..." he added, picking up his backpack in the process of standing, and throwing it over his right shoulder. "You get it, right?" he asked, hiding and regret he felt eating him away inside. But really, was he expected to pretend to like her until she got tired of him? he thought no, and so it had come to this... Words: 156 Music Playing: None Tagged: Marie Clair Belle Notes:

Marie Claire rolled her eyes in annoyance, standing up and pushing her chair in. Well, this was much quicker than I thought it would be, She thought to herself, almost glad it was over with. She swung her backpack over her shoulder once again, starting to walk out but turning around face him again. Yeah, I "get it" Declan. She finished with a smirk as she turned back around and left.
