![](http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/oo24/Spottedstar44/Blackthorne%20Charries/BradPitt01-1.jpg) Brandon sat in a booth at the local coffee shop downtown, a bit of ways out from the academy. It was Saturday, and Brandon didn't know what he was even doing at the dang coffee shop! He didn't even like coffee, and he wasn't much of a hot chocolate drinker either... The shop was pretty much empty besides a few people here and there, but so far no one that he recognized from the academy. Because of the lack of people, it was uncomfortably quiet, just the sound of silverware and dishes clanging together, and the occasional laugh or cough of some sort.
Brandon was surprised by the lack of people there, after all it was only 8:00 or so in the morning. He hadn't planned on getting up that early that morning, but he was rudely awakened by Taylor who only had a sob story to tell him about his neck, and Brandon didn't really give a damn. Taylor had always been a baby, and a big complainer, so he wasn't that surprised to be woken by HIM on one of their days off.
A sigh escaped Brandon as he slid his head into his hands, and closed his eyes momentarily. His hands then slid down his face as he lifted his head up, and the whole thing went by rather quickly and Brandon was left looking out the window. It was snowing, flakes falling rather heavily to the ground and covering the street and sidewalks. Before you knew it, Taylor was back from the bathroom, and going on talking about something that Brandon didn't really care about; until he heard him mention some girl. Brandon and his friends were big players, and he wasn't afraid to deny it really. Taylor was going on about this Trixie girl, and Brandon had lost interest pretty quickly. He found himself playing with a fork as Taylor went on and on and on...
Just as he was sure he was going to crack, he heard the bell chime, signaling that someone was walking into the dull little shop. He looked up to see a girl, a hot one at that, and Brandon found himself staring her up and over and over again until he watched a slip of paper fall from her bad, and she made her way to the bar sort of area. Tired of hearing Taylor's story, Brandon stood, and started over toward the girl. As he made his way over, he picked up the slip of paper, and took a seat next to the girl. He looked over at her, and smiled casually, and noted, "I think you dropped this..." Words: 438 Music Playing: None Tagged: ---OPEN--- Notes: (Note for me: 0660F5)

Char walked into the coffee shop, her hair settling as the wind was left behind her. She made her way to a bar area, sitting down and pulling her purse over her shoulder to rest on the bar ledge. She ran her fingers through her hair, sighing and looking around. Someone blocked her view as he sat down in the seat next to her...
His image changed from fuzzy to clear as she took him in. Soon she recognized him, she had seen him in the halls at school before, and he'd happened to know about him from other girls she'd been friends with. What was his name... Brandon? She knew he was a player, she'd heard about him so many times before.
She wasn't going to be like every other girl. She wasn't going to fall into his little games. She's not that kind of girl, and she wasn't going to let him at her, whatever he tried to pull. If you're looking for a one-day toy, find some other girl. She said with narrowed eyes as she took the paper from him.

![](http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/oo24/Spottedstar44/Blackthorne%20Charries/BradPitt01-1.jpg) Brandon almost immediately heard Taylor burst out laughing somewhere off in the distance after the girl had spoke. He paused, taken a bit back but at the same time not. He rolled his eyes to himself as he heard Taylor trying to calm himself down, and he looked back to the girl. Brandon had seen her type before. She respected herself, and he really didn't have a problem with it. He kept his expression at a mix of confusion and disbelief as he looked her up and down, keeping all thoughts inside his head, and not letting other emotion take over his expression as he continued. He finally decided she was worth it, but her "type" only would make things take longer. Oh well, he had time he decided as he looked back up at her, a grin cracking softly across his face.
"I never forget a face, but in your case I'll be glad to make an exception." he replied, giving her a sarcastic wink. He figured he should try and play the ignoring card with her, after all, it usually worked with him on her "type." Who knew though, he was just trying something out for size... "Anyway, like I said, just figured you would want that back," he added, rolling his eyes, and heading back for his booth with Taylor.
Sure, he couldn't help but throw in a little of the "nice guy" there at the end, but he was just playing with her at this point. He didn't look back as he reached the booth, putting the ignoring act into action, and took a seat across from Taylor while pulling his phone out and sending away a few texts. Brandon glanced up as Taylor as he heard a chuckle from the Junior, and rolled his eyes in return. "Common'. It wasn't that great. I've heard MUCH better," he noted, looking back to his phone, ignoring Taylor as he disagreed and started going on about that girl he had been talking about earlier.
As a few minuted had gone by, he glanced from the corner of his eyes to look at the brunet he had had the pleasure to meet a moment ago, and watched to see if things happened to be working out in his favor. Even if not, sometimes these things just needed time to sink in, ya know? Words: 393 Music Playing: None Tagged: Char Bantra!!! Notes: (Note for me: 0660F5)

Char ignored his comments, rolling her eyes as he walked away. She got up with a sigh, taking her coffee over to the other side of the shop so she was even farther away from him. She smiled in satisfaction, but couldn't help but to take another glance at him as he walked over to his table.
She could admit, he was pretty hot, but she couldn't get sucked in like that. That's what happened to every girl at least once, and it wasn't going to happen to her. She wasn't that stupid, and whatever he was going to try to pull she would ignore. This guy obviously wasn't done, he would come back eventually.
She sighed and looked the other way, scanning the room for something that could entertain her. After a few moments, her phone started playing the ringtone How Do You Love Me Now by Hey Monday, and she pulled it out of her pocket to bring it to her ear. It happened to be her best friend Brendan, who she held an interesting conversation with for 10 or so minutes.
OOC: Sorry, kinda blabbed on that one I couldn't think of anything
