Smell, sight, hearing.
The smell of sweat, blood, and water.
The many sights to behold of the gym around her.
The sound of flesh slapping, dull thuds, cries of pain.
Danielle Taylor stood in front of a large punching bag, her hands curled into fists, her legs parted in a fighting stance. Her normally loose hair was pulled up into a ponytail, and she wore a tank top, and a pair of sweat pants. Bandages were wrapped around her wrists, to keep from damaging her hands. A look of determination was set upon her face as she slammed her fists into the worn leather of the punching bag she had claimed. There were several scuffs, marks, and patches littered the large sack.
The brunette's fists slammed into the large, inanimate object, the bag buckled underneath her blows, yes swung back to take more. Some other students stopped what they were doing to stare, some out of pure curiosity, others to stare at Dani's.... assets. But she didn't care, not at all. She had to focus.
Her pace quickened, and a growl escaped the back of her throat. Danielle still didn't know what went on back in the halls with Chaleon. And it was slowly making her more and more frustrated. So, mindless violence was in order. It helped her get away from her problems, it helped her think and sort things out. It was what Danielle was born and raised to do.
Even though I'm not doing a great job at upholding my family's name.. She thought bitterly, spinning on the spot, and lifting her leg to kick the punching bag savagely. Hell, I don't even remember the last time my father told me that he was proud of me. With a snort, the brunet kicked her current target again. With a groan, the chains that held the bag up snapped, and the dark leather cylinder fell to the floor, landing with a thud.
Danielle sighed, and plodded over to the nearest bench, scooping up a towel, and pulled a water bottle out of the cooler nearby. She draped the cool fabric over her shoulders, and opened the bottle of H2O, gulping down the liquid in no time. Ice blue eyes looked around the room, surveying the broken punching bag upon the floor, and a bark of bitter laughter left Danielle's mouth as she wiped her face, her arms, and her hands, on the towel, throwing it on the floor after-wards.

![](http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/oo24/Spottedstar44/Blackthorne%20Charries/american_mall26-1.jpg) Cristina had been on her way out, out of the school that was. Her classes left weren't anything special, just study hall and gym, two subjects she didn't mind missing to be honest. Her loosely curled hair bounced casually along her shoulders as she made her way across the workout room. It was her little idea of a shortcut, and after all it kinda was considering it would save her a few minutes by cutting through the smelly room. A battle class was currently in progress as they all practiced whatever they were doing. Cristina didn't have much patience for paying attention to what they were doing, and she really didn't care...
Finally, freedom from the noisy and cramped room lay just a few feet away, when something caught her eye. It was Danielle, her some sort of sister, one way or another. Cristina's father happened to stumble upon Danielle's mother, and based on Danielle's existence, I'm sure you get the idea. Despite knowing this dark side of her father, Cristina and D. were close, like sister's should be. Christina didn't have any other siblings, and she'd always wanted one until she'd figured out the story behind Danielle. I mean, her father was to blame, not Danielle, so how could Cristina really point a finger?
Shaking her thought away with an eye roll, Cristina noticed the brunet punching her troubles away at the poor sack that had no choice but to take it all. Christina let out a shrug, and crossed her arm across her chest, pondering what could be wrong this time. The brunet watched as Danielle became violent, and as the punching bag broke from it chains and to the ground with a thud she felt vibrate across the floor. Christina would agree that Danielle was never good about taking her anger out, and that in one way or another it happened to be violent, but none the less she always felt sympathetic toward her.
An amused smile crossed Christina's lips as Danielle finished, seeming to be getting slightly hysterical in her opinion, but you never really knew with Danielle... Assuming so, she silently made her way up to the girl, and she flashed her one of those, 'what the hell is going on' faces. With a shake of her head, Christina let her bag plop to the floor. She'd gotten tired of letting the damn thing hang on her arm, cutting her circulation off. "So, would you like to share what's one your mind dear?" she asked just being concerned like any good sibling or let alone friend should... Words: 430 Music Playing: None Tagged: Danielle!!! Notes: I re-read Danielle's bio, and i figured this was how they could be related... just made sense to me. Is that alright? :/ (Note for me: 557b9a)

Danielle snorted bitterly, and sucked back the rest of her water. The brunet wiped her mouth with the back of her hand, and pointed at the punching bag on the floor, "You know as well as I do, Cris." She dropped her bottle onto her towel, and stretched her arms above her head, "Violence, for me, solves everything."
A queit snicker escaped her lips, and she looked over at her half sister, smiling brightly for the first time that day, "And, well, I was feeling kind of jumpy, and the punching bag looked at me funny. I swear, it was asking for it." The brunet's shoulders slumped slightly, and her smile faded, "And well... it's.. a guy. Some wierd stuff happened, and I'm so bloody confused! Eergh!" Dani lifted her hands to press them to her forehead, and sliding them down to cover her eyes.
A nagging feeling at the back of her head told her to tell Cristina about what really happened. About the sudden lusting of bodily fluids and such. But another part of Danielle didn't want to worry her sister, because she cared so much for her... The brunet sighed, and let her hands fall back to her sides, looking back at Cris. "Eeh.. And there's something I need to tell you... preferably in private?" She tilted her head to the side, then bent down to grab her bag and another towel.
Danielle looked around the room for any Staff members, and sighed when she spotted one. Ice blue eyes flashed over to Cristina, then she motioned for her to follow. "C'mon.. changeroom should be empty." She said, turning and walking for the girl's locker room.
[ ohohcee;// Yeah! It's perfectly okay~! And sorry about my post being so short. >>;; My brain's still goopy from my chemistry exam. ]

![](http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/oo24/Spottedstar44/Blackthorne%20Charries/american_mall26-1.jpg) Christina raised an eyebrow as her sister went on babbling, which caused Chris to figure something was up that D. wasn't telling her... Of course, her thoughts were right as she rolled her eyes, following Danielle to wherever she was taking her. She didn't roll her eyes in a bad way, just more of a confused eye roll. It was like Danielle's actions and change of subjects were giving her whiplash, but Christina figured she should be use to it by now. Christina gazed un-phased as Danielle's icy gaze met hers, and instructed her to go to the girls locker rooms.
Thoughts raced through Chris's mind as the two of them made their way to the locker rooms, thoughts that were random and thoughts of Danielle. What was she hiding? What was so important they needed to talk in 'private?' Who knew, but Chris surely had no idea. As the door to the girls locker room came into view, Chris recalled Dani mentioning a "boy." A smile flashed across Christina's face at this thought. If Christina knew anything, it was boys, and she was sure she could help out with anything Dani needed to know.
Doubt lingered silently with Christina while remembering the way Dani had sounded. She'd sounded as if something unexplainable was going on, and that she didn't feel like she could tell Chris... Now that was rediculous... why was Chris even pondering all this shit when if Dani was going to tell her what was up, she would. She shouldn't pry at her, or even think about it for that matter, but the thoughts just kept coming back after she pushed them away.
The girls finally reached the door, and Dani was quickly engulfed past the door, while Chris caught it before pausing while a chill ran down her spine. She could tell someone was there, but when she looked over her shoulder, nothing was visible besides the newly waxed gym floors. She narrowed her eyes, and looked around slowly as if expecting whoever was there to show themselves. Christina shook her head, rubbing her temples in disbelief with herself, and then lifting her head back up from one last glance around the gym. Great, now she was going insane! With that, Christina shoved the feeling off her shoulders, and turned to continue into the locker rooms.
A smell of sweaty gym clothes mixed with a hint of a wet shower smell met her nose. "Ack! it smells like shit in here!" Chris spat in disgust as she studied the walls as if blaming them for keeping the wretched smell enclosed in the tight space. The brunet crossed her arms across her chest like she had done moments before, and tapped her foot impatiently. "Alright, so uh, whats up then?" Christina asked, shrugging her irritation away. Whatever was up with Dani was wayyyy more important than the location of their discussion, but a better place would have been nice in Christina's mind... Danielle wrinkled her nose at the smell that greeted them, lifting her hand to place it over her nose, “Egh.. Yeah. Sorry about.. choosing this place. It's the only place where I know our Professor's won't be..” She sighed, and pulled her hair out of it's ponytail, running her fingers through the silky locks. The brunet frowned, and began to sort out her thoughts from that day. The meeting at luch, the obvios attraction that Dani felt for Chaleon, the bloodlust that wasn't supposed to be there, and.. how Danielle had acted afterwards.
“Okay. So...” She started, crossing her arms over her chest, and leaning against the lockers. “A few days ago- during lunch- I met a guy named Chaleon.” Dani bit her bottom lip, looking over at Chris, “He took pity on my poor ears, because someone at his table had a very annoying laugh. We ditched, went into the halls, and decided what to do. We agreed on a movie.. then...” She paused, and let out an aggrivated sigh.
“Well, he was hitting on me, I called him on it, and he didn't deny it. We got.. quite close, as in, I was backed up against the wall, and his face was alarmingly close to mine..” She groaned quietly and leaned her head back, hitting the locker with it, “Bloody hell, Chris, he was gorgeous... You should have saw him!” His hair.. his eyes.. his scent.. It had been plaguing the poor brunet for days, and she didn't know what to do. One would say that this was.. her first crush-thing? She didn't get human logic.
“Anyway, for some reason, I had a sudden lust for blood. I left, so I wouldn't kill him, and he followed. Soon after, he had reaction to me; a chain reaction, one would say.” Danielle's frown deepened, and she opened her eyes, not realising that she had closed them, “After, I ran away. Like a coward... What's wrong with me, Chris? I'm.. so confused..” She uncrossed her arms, and let them dangle at her sides, a hopeless look on her face.

![](http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/oo24/Spottedstar44/Blackthorne%20Charries/american_mall26-1.jpg) Cristina listened, bored at first, but as Dani got further into the story, the brunet felt her interest in the whole ordeal rising. So, two vampires that obviously seem to have a connection, but are somehow drawn and urged to suck one another's blood... From the way D was describing it, the boy seemed to be like a frickin god or something! But, that was probably just Danielle, being over-dramatic like in Christina's opinion she always seemed to be. Although, it probably didn't help that Chris was so easy going with a critical view to start out. As dramatic as she was being though, Christina couldn't help but feel intrigued and interested, plus, D actually LIKED someone!
After all of the thoughts going through Christina's head, the poor brunet couldn't keep up with everything that was swirling around in her mind. Not knowing any better, Christina asked "Well, isn't it normal for vampires to want to suck blood?" The girl was clueless, not being a vampire of course not really helping with the whole fact. "And anyways, he seems perfect physically and all, that does it really matter? I mean, I'm sure he could handle himself if anything went wrong... Right?" Everything was just getting two confusing, and it all seemed to be above Christina's head while she just seemed to be missing something. "But, hey, I'm no vampire or anything, so I don't think I'm really one to ask... I mean, for all I know this all seems normal..."
Christina could tell something was up though, something was so wrong about what was going on between the two vampires that was unheard of, at least for Danielle. She was clueless, and usually having all the answers, this frustrated Chris. How could she not be able to help D. 'I mean, of all people, how can I not help the most important person in my life, but I can help everyone else?!' she asked herself angrily, clenching her teeth in frustration. Christina shrugged, relaxing while taking in a slow breath, and afterward looking over at Danielle with a calm smile upon her face. "Look, Dani, I'm sure things will work out fine... she commented, while making her way over to her "sister," and gently fixing her bags' strap. "I mean, they always do.... Right?" she assured her, but half questioned, somewhat doubting the comment. Words: 393 Music Playing: None Tagged: Danielle!!! “We do crave blood, Chirs, it's just that there's this thing about Vampires that makes it so that we don't go after another vampire's blood. Think of it like... A lion pride. We're the top of the food chain, some may say, and predators don't hunt other predators.” Danielle ran another hand through her hair, absently nibbling on her bottom lip. She sighed for the umpteenth time that day. Damn, there was seriously something wrong with her. She had... feelings? For a guy she barely knew, her instincts were driving her up the walls, and she was making her half-sister worry.
The brunet slid down against the lockers so that she was sitting down, and buried her head in her hands, “I hope to the gods that things will sort out... I'm.. so confused.. I was raised to fight, to be the ultimate predator..” Dani murmured, but made sure to be loud enough for Chris to hear. She looked up at Chris, and smiled; not her usual smirk, but a true smile. She wondered absently why she was, but pushed the thought aside.
It felt as if a weight had been lifted from her shoulders, now that she had told someone about what was on her mind, and she felt like she could actually sort her thoughts out for once. Danielle scooted to the side, and nodded at Christina's bag, “... I know that this is totally inapropriate, but do you happen to have any food in there? I'm up for anythi--” She paused, and sniffed the air. Dani's smile faded, and she stood up suddenly; the smell.. It was intoxicating, a drug.. She shook her head lightly, knowing the scent. It was blood. “.. Chris? Don't freak out or anything... But I smell... Blood...”
