Trixie tried to catch her breath as the wolf sprung off of her, watching intently as she did. Suddenly the wolf went into some sort of daze, unmoving and with blank eyes. The scene played out before her and she finally came to her senses fast enough to watch as Taylor and the new wolf ran off in the direction of his shack.
She struggled to her paws, then ran off in their trail. She wasn't nearly as fast as the wolves were, her clumsy paws tripping around in the snow. Luckily she couldn't hear the wolf behind her, seeming that he was still in a daze. Hopefully he wouldn't be on her trail anytime soon, because it was taking her an awfully long time to get to the shack.
How far had they gone into the woods? It didn't seem much on the snowmobile, probably because they were going 70 and above. Her legs hurt and her muscles strained to keep going. The snow made it nearly impossible to run at her full speed, her paws getting caught in clumps or stumbling over hidden rocks and branches covered in snow.
Finally the shack came into view, and she practically stumbled towards them, flopping down in the snow next to the two much faster wolves. She stared back to the way they had come, trying to catch her breath. She didn't see or hear their possible follower, but the other two wolves had much better senses of scent and hearing then a panther did.

  Taylor and Ellie didn't so so much as let out s light breath of relief as Trixie plopped on the snow in front of them, their concentration still fixed on the other wolf they had encountered. Their ears stayed pricked toward the forest, and their muscles tense as they watched and listened eagerly for the sound of pursuit. After a few minutes, their muscles relaxed and their breath picked up while they looked down at Trixie. Not long after, Taylor stood up and made his way over to the left side of the house where a large dog door sort of door lay. This way, Taylor and Ellie could enter the house to at least change their clothes before walking around the place.
Unlike Trixie, when werewolves changed, they lost their clothes, while Trixie as a morphic would be able to keep hers. As Taylor disappeared around the corner, Ellie looked down at Trixie with some sort of smile appearing in the corner of her muzzle. With that, she stood, and followed Taylors path to the door, but paused and looked back at Trixie before entering. She immediately darted for her room which lay on the direct left of the main hallway. Taylor was already in his room which lay at the end of a wide, short hallway on the second floor.
Taylor soon appeared in the kitchen with a simple pair of jeans on as he leaned down to open a cabinet under the sink. There, he pulled out an immense first aid kit sort of box, and pulled out some sort of long bandage looking thing. He took seizors from the kit, cutting a large patch from the bandage, and taping it to the wound on his neck. He then stuffed everything back inside, and shoved the kit back under the sink. It didn't take long for the bandage to go red with blood, but it would soon heal. When he looked up, there was Trixie, and Ellie off in the corner of his eye giving him the famous stern but yet amused look she always gave him.
Ellie rolled her eyes at sight of the bandage, and gave him a stern but yet amused look as she thought frivolously to herself. "Your such a baby. It's not that bad, suck it up,"[/color] she half joked as she turned around, not waiting for his reply. She started for a family sort of room, which the glass walls were beaded with the coming down snow. She took a seat and slumped into a large chair that sat next to the far wall, and curled around like three couches set in an almost complete square. In the middle of the couch lay a glass table, which Ellie grabbed a large remote from, clicking the power button. This turned on the 100 inch wide-screen TV that lay on the opposite wall from the couch on the floor, since it was obviously too big to set on some sort of table. Taylor rolled his eyes at Ellie's comment, not that she noticed as she walked off and into the family room. He then looked back over at Trixie, rolling his eyes jokingly. "Oh, make yourself at home, and just ignore Ellie. She isn't trained yet..."[/color] he joked, grabbing a gray T-shirt and slipping it on casually. Ellie then remembered Trixie, and looked over the couch with an average smile. "Oh, yeah, come one over Trix. I don't bite.... hard... and don't be surprised if I drool a bit over your cat stench. Trixie watched as they left, a little bit confused at Ellie's looks towards her. Quickly and easily, she was soon back into her human form, and started towards the front door of the house. She went in casually, looking around for either one of them might be. She finally caught Taylor without a shirt on putting some sort of bandage on his neck. Almost immediately it was soaked with blood, and she smiled in amusement.
She giggled at Ellie's comment, finding it funny that she would make a huge deal about it if that happened to her. But since she wasn't a were wolf, her wounds didn't heal at a super fast rate like theirs did and so something like that seemed unimportant to them apparently. She watched as Ellie turned on the TV in the living room, and shifted her weight from one leg to the other with an awkward look on her face.
Trixie immediately responded to Taylor and sat on the couch a little bit away from Ellie. Not that she didn't like her or anything, but the remarks just left her some what cautious. She wasn't scared either, but she had just seen her kick the donkey butt out of the other wolf, and she heard were wolves got pretty dangerous when upset or mad or angry.

Ellie glanced over at Trixie as she sat down, and smiled, amused with herself as she sat a bit aways from her. She then scooted over closer to Trixie, and put her arm around her neck in a friendly sort of way. "Don't worry, I have pretty good control over myself," Ellie whispered in Trixie's ear with an amused smile. She then released the poor girl, and slouched back in the chair while flipping through the channels. She finally stopped clicking when she reached MTV, and became silent as teen cribs showed off rich kids houses.
Taylor took a seat in between the two girls, seeing that Trixie probably wasn't to comfortable around Ellie. Although she was nice, she could be a bit intimidating when it came to socializing. "Sorry, Ellie's a bit anti-social..." he joked while feeling her punch him in the arm, causing him just to laugh while she went back to watching teen cribs with a poutty face on, trying to hold back a smile that edged at her lips. Taylor then looked at the remote for a moment, and then snatched it from Ellie's hand, handing it to Trixie. "Here, feel free to pick something," he told her with a wink while Ellie stuck her tongue out a Taylor playfully.
With that, Taylor slouched back in the couch, letting his arms rest along the back rim of the couch casually while he closed his eyes and let out a sigh. "Sorry about that whole ordeal back there by the way. We can go snowmobile tomorrow instead if you want..." Taylor added, keeping his eyes drowsily shut. Trixie took the remote with a shrug, turning on Modern Family, one of her favourite shows of all time. She smiled and returned the remote to Taylor. If you don't want to watch this you can change it. She said, laughing at something that happened on the show.
In all honesty, she didn't really want to go snowmobiling again after that experience. She still wanted to see him though, and his offer was almost like an open door to do something with him again. Don't worry about it, I wasn't the one who almost got their neck ripped open. Oh, I almost forgot to thank you for that whole thing...

Taylor smiled as she noted that they could change the channel if they didn't like it. I mean, why would they have given her the remote if they were going to change the channel if they didn't like it? Okay, so Taylor sorta got where she was coming from, but he didn't care what they were watching, just not being a very big TV person in general. "Don't worry about it... I wasn't just going to let him have you without a fight anyway," Taylor replied with a wink, sort of implying on more than one thing.
Ellie had been watching the two of them as Taylor had taken the remote from her, and her face was slowly turning from angry to annoyed. "Good hint captain subtle!" Ellie snapped sarcastically, not angry that he was hitting on Trixie, just that she had to sit there and listen to it. She rolled her eyes, turning back around to face the TV with sheer boredom written across her face. Okay, so she was really and deeply interested in listening to how Trixie was going to react, but it's not like she was going to show it. I mean, that would seem a bit imprudent, wouldn't it?
Taylor turned his head from Trixie to look at Ellie, his expression flashing from amused to pique. "You know Ellie, you can leave. I promise I won't miss you too much," Taylor shot back with an eye roll. Ellie in return rolled her eyes, crossing her arms across her chest in annoyance. Why was Taylor always such a jerk when he was around other girls? Ellie didn't know, but it surely bothered her, and it wasn't just a one time thing either. It was ALL the time...
Taylor turned back to Trixie with a eye roll referring to Ellie, and then raised an eyebrow as if prompting her response. Little did Taylor noticed Ellie suddenly looking from the corner of her eyes at the two of them. Anguish took over he features, feeling a bit stoned by his remarks. Sure, she was somehow use to it, but it was getting annoying to her. He always had to play this 'cool kid' or 'bad boy' act that in Ellie's opinion was a totally different person. He was actually really sweet and nice when he wasn't around his friends or other girls he obviously didn't feel he was good enough for. In Ellie's opinion, the way Taylor was acting he didn't deserve Trixie, but for some reason he always got what he was looking for, so she just silently shrugged, and turned her attention back to the TV show... Trixie smiled slightly at his comment, and then blushed. She knew she was either imagining the hint, or he possibly liked her back...? She was interrupted from her thoughts by a remark from Ellie, and she tried hard not to laugh. She didn't mind that it was obvious, in fact she liked it a lot, but the comment was just funny and she wasn't trying to make fun of him or anything.
She had to admit, both Ellie and Taylor had dry senses of humour, but who was she to care? It gave a little bit of entertainment, listening to their back and forth rebukes. She could also tell Ellie had quite an interest in their conversation, always looking back at them and staying quiet so she could hear what they were saying. Trixie didn't really mind though, it wasn't a big deal to her. She couldn't help wondering why she was so interested though. There was nothing to blame her for if she liked Taylor too; well, who wouldn't?
Even so she felt a disappointed vibe coming off of Ellie, as if she was mad at Taylor for some reason. She had a guess at what it was, since it had happened with her own brother, Brian, before. Her gaze went back to Taylor, who was looking at her as if waiting for a response. Then she remembered what he had said earlier, and she hadn't answered him. I'm glad. I was hoping you would end up the winner in the end... She said with a smile, leaning back in the couch with a sigh.

Taylor smiled, feeling a mixture of emotions from happy to amused. He rested his head on his hand as he rotated himself to face Trixie, so therefore his elbow rested on the rim of the couch. "That's good to know... At least I'm not waisting my time..." he replied with a casual, warm smile. Taylor had forgotten about the whole TV conversation, and the whole Ellie thing. He found it un-important, seeing where things were going anyways.
Ellie rolled her eyes, letting out a snort of disgust. Without much thought, she heaved herself from the couch, and started walking toward her room. "Do me a favor and let me know when you guys just make out and get it over with. Maybe Taylor won't be such a priss afterwards..." Ellie yelled over to Trixie before shutting her door. Blaring music then followed, but it wasn't very loud since the ginger's door was shut, thankfully...
Taylor rolled his eyes, and then smiled, somewhat happy Ellie had finally left. "Sorry, she gets all mad when I have people over. She thinks I get all moody and try to act all cool or whatever," he explained and apologized with a joking eye roll toward his explanation. "But I just think she gets mad that my attention doesn't evolve around her..." he added with a sigh, being tired of Ellie's routine.
"So... Anyway... A panther huh? At least you won't go all cougar on me..." Taylor joked, not really finding it funny but who knows. Trixie shifted her position so she was facing him a little bit more, her head against the edge of the couch. She felt the blood surge to her cheeks at Ellie's comment, and she had to admit, she wouldn't mind. But like she was going to make that any more obvious then it probably already was!
She turned her attention back to Taylor, and she listened to what he had to say about how Ellie got annoyed of him trying to act cool and such... Yeah, just as she thought. You know, you don't have to act cool for me to like you. She said it before she even had time to think about it, and she automatically wanted to slap herself in the face for how forward she had been about it. She bit her lip, and tried to pretend she hadn't said anything, focusing on the next question he asked her...
She had to admit, his little joke was pretty stupid. But just because he actually said it made her giggle. Nah, that's it. You got any powers besides the whole were wolf thing? she asked, not sure if that was possible or if it was just vampires.

Taylor pondered her question. It'd been awhile since he'd even used his other power, and to tell you the truth he really couldn't remember for a moment. Eventually things clicked though, and he replied without hesitation. "Well, if I'm close enough to someone I can take over their body. But it's an unstable power... I'm not usually able to use it for very long..." he replied, letting out a sigh in disappointment with the power itself. He found even having a power odd though, for werewolves didn't generally have any. This explained why it was so unstable, and useless in Taylor's opinion though, so he never really pondered it...
Taylor wandered into thought while explaining his power to her, thought about what Ellie always said about him. He wasn't really like she said he was, was he? He didn't feel like he acted any different... but apparently he did, because Trixie had commented on it just a moment ago as well. He shook the thought away, ripping himself back to the present before his curiosity turned to anger. Anger was not a good quality in a werewolf, because even Taylor would admit they lost their temper easily. Luckily, Taylor had good control of himself, along with Ellie who was probably doing something to hold everything in beyond her bedroom door.
Taylor shrugged his thought away as he listened to Trixie's reply, which he didn't really listen to, figuring it was just some simple, 'Oh, that cool' or something along those lines. Instead he just stared at her, not staring staring, just looking more like. His eyes glanced around her face, trying to read her emotion beyond what was given off. He silently shrugged the thought away, as he realized that they were rather close now, close enough that he swore their faces were only inches from eachother... his eyes glanced from her eyes to her lips, and back to her eyes a few times over, as he unknowingly lightly bit at his lip.
Wait, what the heck was he doing? He'd just met the girl, and he was actually liking her! Why ruin it like everyone else and make it a one night thing? All of these things raced through his mind, but he could pull himself back even as he tried. He told himself not to do anything, to make her make a move... I mean, the way his head was working right now, if she did it first then he'd at least know she was feeling somewhat the same... And if she wasn't she'd pull away, or push him away, which he was silently praying for, but he simply stay there, frozen, waiting for... something!? Trixie completely forgot about what they were talking about before, her heart pounding in her chest. They were close now, close enough she could feel his breath against her lips. She watched as his eyes flickered over her face, and she did the same, not sure what she wanted to do at this point...
She knew she wanted to kiss him. Hell, she would LOVE to kiss him. And she was almost 90% sure he wanted to kiss her too, seeing the fact that he was making her make a decision. But in all honesty, she didn't feel like right now, right here, wasn't the right time. Plus, she knew there was something between them, and she didn't want to ruin that on the day that she met him. She wasn't going to throw it all away because she was too eager to go too fast...
While she thought, she was inching even closer to him, and she cursed herself because he might have thought she was trying to lead him on and then pull away. But she couldn't bring herself, as much as she wanted to, to kiss him. She let go of a breath she was holding in and turned her head down and to the side, closing her eyes in frustration. I'm sorry I just...

Taylor closed his eyes half in frustration, half relief while pulling back and leaning his head back against the rim of the couch. "Don't be sorry... It's not a big deal..." he replied with a reassuring smile, but his eyes still remained closed in thought. He wasn't sure why somehow he felt a shudder of disappointment, after all deeper down he was hoping she would pull away. He wanted this relationship to last, all he wanted was just ONE REAL relationship.
Sure, Taylor would admit he was a player, one of those guys that was with a girl on day, and with another the next night at some crazy party. Hell, all of him and his friends kinda were... Except Josh really. Josh just had that boyish, good-boy attitude Taylor wished he had. He never really knew why he was the way he was around girls, just jumping from one to the next... Ellie really was the only girl he'd managed to at least be friends with for almost five years now.
Taylor shook his head lightly, letting out a sigh and opening his eyes, sending his thoughts away. His hand slid through his hair, rubbing it the opposite way, and then gently patting it back down with a wipe of his hand down his head. "I'll give you credit, your the first girl to actually turn away," he added with a casual, warm smile. His teeth slowly came into view as his smile widened, and his gaze dropped to his shoes with a sigh for no apparent reason. Words: 257 Music Playing: None Tagged: Marie<3Claire! Trixie shrugged, somehow feeling like the awkwardness was fading away. Well I try not to trust someone too much before I even get to know them... She answered, looking around and somewhat forgetting what had happened. She looked down to the floor, trying to think of something she could do or say to fill in the empty space that followed.
But that doesn't mean I can't hold your hand right? She said as she slid her hand across the tiny space in between them where his hand was, interlacing her fingers into his. She smiled to herself slightly as his natural werewolf heat warmed her hand. Wow you're like my own heater, She said with a laugh and looked over at the TV.
She could tell he was getting bored, and so was she really. She tried to think of something they could do in the middle of winter, but nothing seemed to come to mind except for another snowball fight. She sighed, looking around in search of something that could entertain them. Wanna go outside? She asked playfully, turning her head so she could look at him with a questioning look that almost said "I dare you".

Taylor didn't react much to her entwining their hands, not that he didn't like it or anything... As she asked if he wanted to go outside, his lips twisted to the right in thought. They had just recently escaped the werewolf a few half hours ago or so, so he didn't really know if it was necessarily safe. No matter, Taylor gave in to her daring glance with a smile, as he rolled his eyes and replied, "Your lucky I love the outdoors."
Taylor stood, keeping his hand in hers as he gently helped her up by softly pulling her up by the hand that lay in his. He smiled, a bit happier now that something was actually going on. Sure, Taylor would have to keep an eye out for anything, but it's not like the girl couldn't defend herself, being a morphic and all. Making their way to the door, Taylor glanced at her with a wink while opening the door for her. His eyes glanced quickly outside with a twitch of his head following his gaze, and then back to her eyes, signaling for her to go first. After all, the saying did go lady's first, right?
Once Taylor stepped outside, the cool, but yet icy breeze greeted his face. He didn't really feel a temperature change, but he could still feel a slight difference in temperature either way.He looked around the snow, looking for any giveaway signs that the wolf happened to be there, but he found none, and relaxed his muscles and looking back over to Trixie. "So..." Taylor sighed, not sure what to really say. It's not that there wasn't anything to talk about, just the fact of what to talk about, and what she even wanted to talk about caused him to simply pause. He shrugged his shoulders, signaling he didn't really know what to say, giving up while gently swinging their twined hand back and forth... Words: 321 Music Playing: None Tagged: Marie<3Claire! Trixie looked around for something to do. She probably should have thought of something before, so she didn't look like she just came out to get attacked by the wolf again. She spotted a tree a few yards away that had many branches hanging lower to the ground then other trees. You like to climb trees? She asked while raising her eyebrows and laughing slightly.
She didn't really wait for an answer, pulling him by his hand while stumbling towards the tree in the snow, finally reaching it and pulling herself onto the lowest branch. She pulled his hand, trying to get him to come up with bright eyes and an amused smile. First to the top wins!
