Okay, so Taylor probably wasn't going to be as good as Trixie at climbing, her being able to transform into some sort of cat in one way or another. Still, just like any other person he was still able to climb the tree if he wanted to. He looked up at her, a challenging glow in his eyes as Trixie challenged him to a climbing 'race' or 'contest.' Whatever, he was cool with it as he smiled and agreed with a reply, "Alright, your on..."
With that, Taylor jumped up onto a branch slightly higher than the one Trixie was on, and more to the left. He smiled, his canines overlapping his other teeth slightly, somewhat like a wolf. That was the thing with these special student, being that there was always things that gave it away that they weren't 'normal.' Anyways, Taylor didn't wait much longer as he then started up the tree, not wanting to put himself behind by waiting for her to get a head start or anything.
Taylor kept his mind focused on keeping hold of the tree, knowing that his balance was probably not as great as Trixie's, which reminded him that the brunet was probably not far behind him. His gaze glanced up, as he realized how tall the tree was, and it was tall, he'd agree with anyone of that. He let out a silent shrug, knowing he'd have no chance when it came down to him beating Trixie to the top. Still, he'd just be happy if he made it to the top! First dog to climb a tree, in his mind, which brought a smile to his face as he rolled his eyes and glanced back... Words: 283 Music Playing: None Tagged: Marie<3Claire! Trixie smiled, always up for a little friendly competition. She reached up to a limb hanging a little bit over her head, placing her foot on a notch in the trunk and then swinging her legs over so she could balance herself on the branch. Taylor was a little bit ahead of her, but she was pretty competitive and she wasn't going to let him finish first...
She laughed slightly as she saw him try to climb, his wolf clumsiness coming over him. She pulled herself onto a higher branch, now somewhat at the same level as Taylor. She quickly pulled herself onto another limb so she was looking down to him. And she pulls ahead folks! She pretended to announce with a laugh.
She reached over to a branch covered with snow and leaves that hung above his head, shaking it so the snow fell atop of him. She waited to see his reaction with a playful expression on her face, swinging from a branch above her with a big toothy smile and amused eyes.

Taylor rolled his eyes, but laughed along with Trixie as she was easily caught up to him. When she pulled ahead thought, and snow fell all over him, Taylor paused momentarily. He looked up at Trixie, snow all over, and a look of disbelief took over his face, soon to be replaced by amusement as he smiled. "Your so dead when... IF I catch up to you!" he howled jokingly as he started after the brunet.
Taylor had noticed Trixie's tactic to climbing the tree, and he was now trying to mimic it. He leaped for a branch to the right, and grasped it with his hands, swinging to the side to end up on top to the branch. He paused, steadying himself as he began to loose his balance, but soon regained it and looked for the next branch. He leaped from branch to branch afterward, copying the girls climb, but who wouldn't!? After all, it seemed to be working, since he hadn't fallen yet that is...
Taylor raced after Trixie, obviously not beating her to the top or anything, but he thought it was close in his mind. He reached the top with the brunet, and paused, watching his breath come out in puffs as he tried to catch his breath. There were still quite a few branches at the top, and weren't all those thing little twigs you usually see, but thicker and yet sturdy trunk-like branches. He looked over around the the right, and noticed an intersection of strong branches that looked somewhat like a place to actually sit believe it or not. He made his way over to the tangle of branches, and managed to make a seat of it.
The place Taylor sat hung off around the edge of the tree, so that it was not that there were any other branches or anything else in the way. Taylor sat on a main, thick and sturdy branch that had branches growing from it upward, growing toward each other. The branches created a sort of back rest that he could lean back on, sort of like a chair in more ways than not. Another branch grew out of the main branch, that as well grew upward but in more of a swirl. His foot leaned against this part of the tree, and gave more balance as well.
Taylor sat there for a moment, watching as his breath slowed and became more even, and he then looked back for Trixie. "Well, you won..." he told her, rolling his eyes jokingly as he smiled slightly. He then turned back, looking out over the forest, just sort of lost in thought, or daydreaming in other words. The sun was starting to go down in the sky, and the sky had burst into colors of oranges and pinks. Although the sky looked beautiful, it made Taylor uneasy. The sun going down meant it would soon be dark, and who knows what could happen then with what had happened earlier with the other wolf... Words: 502 Music Playing: None Tagged: Marie<3Claire! Notes: (Note for me: 557b9a) this is the place Taylor is sitting... you would be looking at his left side if he were sitting on it here... s1.hubimg.com/u/2098420_f520.jpg

Trixie watched as he sat down in some sort of branch seat, raising her eye brows in amusement. She made her way to the branch he was at, but sat down where it met with the trunk, so she was facing him. She let her leg slide of the branch so it hung there, swinging it while she looked around.
Yeah, I guess so... She said with a sigh, trying to think about something that could fill the empty spaces of their conversation. She thought back to a few minutes ago, when she hadn't kissed him. Part of the reason was because she didn't know him well enough. Maybe she could get to know him now...?
So uh, mind giving me some information on yourself? She asked with a smile, trying to get to know him more. I mean, she'd been with him practically the whole day, and she'd been too preoccupied to get to know the guy. She looked out across the sky, where she saw the sun start to slowly lower towards the treetops.

Taylor watched as Trixie made her way around him, and on the opposite side of the branch so that she was facing him. His mind went into thought as she asked him about himself, and for a moment he was confused, but then remembered that Trixie wasn't a werewolf like himself, and therefore obviously didn't know about him, being unable to read his mind and everything in it.
He took a moment, thinking about what to say, or more like how to explain everything. "Well, what do you wanna know?" he asked, a bit confused at what she wanted. Did she want his past? His favorite color? What? He smiled, rolling his eyes at his thoughts while he shook his head slightly. "Never mind, I'm just going to give you the whole story," Taylor explained, leaning back against the tree, getting ready to just explain everything.
"Well, when I was fourteen, I guess you could say I was the rebellious type... My father was a werewolf, so it wasn't like my parents were surprised when I turned into a wolf one day. Anyways, I ran away when my parents were arguing about sending me to the academy, and I ended up somewhere in South Dakota. I found Ellie there, and we just sort stuck together, and she's been my friend ever since. I guess you could say she's my best friend, just cuz we've been friends for so long, but, yea... So, me and Ellie made our way to the academy, cuz that's where I was headed obviously. We finally made our way there, and they took us in like they take pretty much anyone. My parents finally found me a few years ago, and agreed to let me stay here, so they just sent some money so I could buy the cabin over there and few other things."
As for more just about me... Um... well.... I don't know..." Taylor sighed, shrugging his shoulders, indicating he didn't really know what to say. "So... Your turn..." he noted, crossing his arms with a curious expression. Words: 343 Music Playing: None Tagged: Marie<3Claire! Notes: (Note for me: 557b9a)

Trixie listened to his story, peeling off pieces of bark from the tree as she did so. She thought about his little history as he finished, watching snow fall behind him. She couldn't help wanting to say something like, Wow you got off easy or something like that, but she refrained from doing so because she wasn't rude like that.
Well, I lived with my brother, Brian, and my parents in Miami, which, I have to admit I enjoyed. When I was like, 14 or so, there was this thing between my Mom and my uncle... She paused for a second, looking back up to Taylor to see if he pretty much got the idea.
There was a nasty divorce, and the whole custody thing drove the whole family into some form of insanity. So when I couldn't stand it any longer, I left with my best friend Meaghan, who was having somewhat of the same problem, to her cousin's house in Louisiana. There we kinda discovered our "special talents" and we came to Blackthorne together...
Then halfway through my freshman year I noticed my brother in the hall, so I knew then he was ok. I don't really know what happened with our parents or anything, but I'd rather not anyway so, I guess it works... She finished, looking back up to Taylor with a sideways smile.

Taylor listened silently, blocking off any emotion from showing. Deep down though, he truly felt bad, and sorry for the poor girl. The story sounded horrible, and he wasn't sure how he would've been able to deal with the situation himself... Knowing his well controlled temper, he thought he probably would've done something similar, but still, Taylor couldn't begin to fathom what it must have been like. As Trixie went on, the feeling just deepened, but he still showed no sign of pity or sorrow.
When she'd finished, Taylor looked into the brunets eyes, unable to hide some sort of empathy that probably lay in his eyes. "I can't... even begin to understand what that.... must've been like..." he finally spoke, looking down at his hands that were stroking the branch that he sat on self-consciously. He thought for a moment, silently as he gathered his thoughts while gazing into the trunk as if he could see something hidden on it interior. He then shook his head slightly, looking back up at Trixie with a expression crossed between confusion and affliction. "But, you don't miss them then?" he more asked then stated, judging by how she had told the story, and her words choice as well.
Taylor could understand her anger toward them. I mean, they'd basically destroyed her family, causing her to run away, thinking as if she had no where else to turn. Still, he know no matter how angry he may be with his parents, over time he'd forgive them. Yet, nothing had happened to him like what Trixie had just described, so could he really doubt? Trixie swiped a piece of her brunette hair away from her eyes, listening to what Taylor was saying. Yeah, well, our family was never really that close anyway, so it didn't really bother me. She searched his eyes, guessing he was close with his family. She noticed a slight fluttering in her stomach when she looked him in the eyes, as if they were like a drug that made her want more of them.
She tore her gaze away, sighing and looking down at the ground that lay at least 40 feet below them. So you don't miss them then? She looked back up as he asked the question, trying to avoid his eyes and focus on some other part of his face, which failed miserably. She didn't really enjoy this conversation very much, so she just shook her head, hoping to end it.
She put her hands on the branch and pulled her legs underneath her so she could reposition herself. She let her mind wander off, thinking about numerous things when a branch overlooking them suddenly broke off and fell inches away from theirs, catching Trixie off guard as she jumped back in surprise, finding herself losing her balance.
In a matter of seconds she was trying to hold onto the branch with her arms as her legs swung out in the air, trying to find a hold on the tree trunk so she could pull herself up. She let out a gasp, clinging onto the branch and desperately sliding her feet against the tree. At this point she knew she wasn't getting herself up, and her hands were starting to feel burning as the bark scratched away.
She sneaked a peek at the ground below her, so far down and such a hard thump she would make if she went tumbling down. She had lost her control and was now screaming, her heart racing. Taylor! She shouted his name a few times, even though she knew she probably wouldn't need to get his attention since he was only a foot or two away, but it helped her keep her mind occupied as her arms started to lose their hold of the branch...
OOC: Sorry that was probably so predictable, but I needed to make it a bit more interesting lol. And also I saw the Forever Never Comes thing Court made, and the whole thing with them seems good! Haha. We need a bit more drama... ^^

As soon as Taylor had heard the branch slowly cracking, he knew what was about to happen. He watched Trixie, while he was forced to jump to a branch higher and to the left, as she held on with everything she had to what was left of where they had been sitting. As Taylor felt his balance wavering, his human instincts told him to help Trixie, but his wolf told his to stay put. Of course, as he heard her yell out for him, he quickly had leaped to the stub where Trixie grasped, slipping. He quickly grabbed one of her hands, pulling her from the dangling height into his arms.
He stayed there frozen as he listened to the rest of the branch crumble away and make it's way to Earth's surface. He stood there, Trixie in his arms, not on purpose, tense as if it had been his own life hanging from the branch. After a moment, he realized that he had pulled Trixie to him, where she now stood probably against her will he guessed, and he gently pulled away, jumping to a different branch a few feet away. "Uh... well, that was close..." Taylor commented, looking over at Trixie hesitantly, trying to break the silence that hung over them menacingly.
"Well, I don't know about you, but I vote we get down... uh, now..." he added, laughing slightly while staring to make his way down from the tree. He hadn't felt comfortable up there from the beginning, just not having good balance, and on top of things he wasn't really a cat or anything that would give him reason to be up there.
Eventually, Taylor made his way to land, and he let out a silent sigh of relief in addition to the grin that crossed his lips. He sniffed in as the breeze swirled around him, and almost immediately his eyes opened in surprise. He looked up into the driveway, where a new car was parked, and a figure stood, causing Taylor's stomach to flip. He looked up, to see if Trixie had followed, listening as he listened to the figures footstep gaining... Words: 357 Music Playing: None Tagged: Marie<3Claire! YOU'RE SEX IS ON FIRE , CONSOLED WITH WHAT WILL TRANSPIRE ! Waking up this morning had been proven to be difficult for Anna, oddly enough. Normally, she was up without hesitation. She was ready for the day, even on those bad ones, no matter how much sleep she got the night before. It was like it was impossible for the girl to be tired. She still didn't have a reason behind that, never being tired. Waking up was slow... School even slower. Maybe it had to do with the iPod that she was missing. Sure, Anna being Anna, had a backup iPod, just in case she lost it or left it someplace. But that iPod was missing too.
Anna had started the day with her morning ritual - shower, blow dry hair, put on clothes for the day, style hair, apply makeup if she felt the need that day. Grab a protein shake, and she was out the door. Normally, she was dancing around and listening to music in true Anna fashion, but with her iPod missing, it was difficult. And she was just too lazy to turn on her computer and access music that way. She had selected black skinny jeans, pulling them onto her slender legs, acting as a second skin. Just the way she loved her jeans. Pulling a gray sequined jersey tank off of the hanger, she slipped it on over her head, grabbing her shoulder bag and crossing the strap across her chest, before sliding her arms into a navy blazer. Walking into her bathroom, she passed by her jewelry rack and picked out her key necklace and simple diamond studded earrings. Her two favorite items of jewelry. Keys were her obsession, and she refused to wear any other types of earrings other then studs. All of the things she would need for a school day were in the shoulder bag, considering she didn't need any for the day. On her way out the door, Anna tucked her dainty feet into her slate gray round-toe lattice pumps.
The school day was normal, nothing had happened really. A few hundred laughs and a little bit of schoolwork. By the end of the day, she already had the plan to head over to Taylor's cabin, where she left her iPod just a few days prior, when they had been hanging out. Yeah, Anna could get in if he wasn't there. It's not like it was really a big deal, they were actually really close, especially for being ex's. Yeah, the two had gone out for a short while, but both decided they would just be better off as friends. And they were. But being friends never meant no flirting, right?
At this moment, Anna was speeding around the twists and turns the road provided. Her little Audi handled the road well, very well. She had been driving for nearly twenty minutes, way faster then she should be, so she had to be close. Noticing her surroundings, Anna realized that yes, she was nearing the cabin. It really did take way too long to get to the cabin, but she really didn't think she could live another day without her beloved iPod. Finally reaching the cabin, Anna didn't notice anyone else being around. How could she know, anyhow? She wasn't really paying attention. She was on a mission for her iPod. Entering the cabin, she spotted her iPod on the counter, just where she had left it. Snatching it up, Anna placed it safely into her bag as she made her way back out of the cabin.
